Picking up where we left off, we follow the rest of Joseph’s journey. From Pharaoh calling him out of prison to interpret dreams, to the dramatic reunion with his brothers, and ultimately the restoration of his family before Jacob’s death.
The second half of Joseph’s story reveals a powerful picture of God’s sovereignty, forgiveness, and redemption. As we process this part of the story together, we share how we each connect with Joseph’s journey, what we’re learning from it personally, and how we can apply those truths in our own lives.

For our first In The Word episode, we’re diving into the story of Joseph in Genesis. In this episode, we introduce the story, briefly revisit Jacob’s backstory, and walk through the first half of Joseph’s journey. From his dreams and betrayal by his brothers to his time in prison and interpreting the dreams of the baker and cupbearer.
Along the way, we each share how we personally relate to different parts of Joseph’s story, what the Lord is teaching us through it, and how we can practically walk those lessons out in our everyday lives.
